Severn Trent Community Fund Supports Rumbletums

A Severn Trent Community Fund grant was used to support Rumbletums energy costs for the year. When we found our that the projected energy costs could rise to £20,000 in 2022 / 2023 we knew that we had to do something to help us through this period. Rumbletums has a lot of energy demands, such as running a kitchen and heating an older building throughout the winter. We wanted to be able to maintain our reputation for offering a warm welcome, not least actually having warm rooms! We are extremely grateful to The Severn Trent  Community Fund for this grant which has enabled us to operate with financial security throughout this year. The whole Rumbletums Community has benefited including the Trainees, the Cafe, room hire groups, community events, Silver Screen, Rumblechums, RumbletumsTots, and all the super social events we have for our trainees.
