Rumbletums’ support for and participation in the local community is a fundamental part of what we do. The interaction between our trainees and members of the community helps to break down barriers and challenge any negative stereotypes people might have about those with learning disabilities. Rumbletums also hosts a self-help group for parents and carers of children and young people with learning disabilities.

We provide a welcoming and safe space for all members of the community, helping combat loneliness and isolation, as well as providing delicious, affordable and nutritious food. Several groups choose Rumbletums as the venue for their social get-togethers.
