Getting the tables ready

The café first opened in July 2011 and has gone from strength to strength. From initially being supported entirely by volunteers the cafe now has five full-time employees. They have contributed to the reputation we have already gained for excellent lunches, cakes and coffee. In 2014 Rumbletums won the Kimberley & Eastwood advertiser Café of the Year award.

The café is open Tuesday to Saturday 09:30am – 3.00pm offering a tasty menu with FairTrade and locally sourced ingredients being used as much as possible. A wide range of breakfasts including a full English, snacks, main courses and a wide range of tasty cakes are offered. We have different choices on our daily specials board which change regularly.

We have our main staples such as different flavoured tarts and baked potatoes which are served alongside delicious dishes such as lasagnes, chilli, ciabattas and soup. All our meals and cakes are made on the premises, and we pride ourselves on our homemade food.The atmosphere is child friendly and is fully accessible for wheel chair users.
